Hi All,

There are some radio events coming up that you might want to keep room for
on your calendar:

October 17-18.
Jamboree on The air. This is the biggest annual worldwide Scouting event.
For 48 hours the bands will be filled with scouts of all ages trying to
contact each other. I will be at T6 from time to time during the weekend and
I encourage everybody to get on the air and talk to the scouts.

October 19-23.
School Club Roundup. Many schools of all levels will be on throughout the
week. If you are interested to operate in this event please let me know.

October 24-25.
CQWW SSB Contest. If I have time I will be operating from T6 but if you feel
like operating please let me and I will assist in getting up and running
with logging etc.

November 7-9.
ARRL Sweepstakes / Collegiate Championship CW. See below

November 21-23.
ARRL Sweepstakes / Collegiate Championship SSB. Since 1999 the ARRL SS has
had a separate category for schools. For the past 2 years we have won this
category for our Division. It would be great if we could repeat this feat
and perhaps climb the ranks nationally.
The rules stipulate that only current Students, Faculty and Staff are
allowed to operate in the school category. Please let me know if you are
able to help us take the 3rd win!
